I discovered cyanotype in September 2025, thanks to Francesco. He showed me the process, the first steps, the rules. But without realizing it, he actually opened a much larger creative door than either of us could have imagined.
This is not my job, and it has never been. It is a place.
Wet cyanotype immediately became my favorite: unstable, unpredictable, impossible to truly control. Each time I try to understand it, to guide it, to recreate a result. Each time I fail, and each time something happens that I did not expect.
I don’t know if I will ever be able to achieve exactly the colors and atmospheres I have in mind.
These works are traces of that search: attempts, mistakes, discoveries, small moments in which something worked.
These are the ones that remained.
The ones that didn’t end up in the bin.
